Gama de vinos.

Es una de las últimas casas de Chablis que posee el conjunto de sus bodegas en el centro histórico de la ciudad, dando así testimonio de su noble pasado. La casa Régnard, una de las más antiguas de Chablis, fue fundada en 1860 por Zéphyr Régnard. Respetuosa con la gran tradición de los vinos de Chablis, esta casa presenta una gama completa de todos los vinos elaborads en esta localidad: Petit Chablis, Chablis, los cinco principales Premiers "Crus" (o primeros vinos de pago): Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Mont de Milieu y Montée de Tonnerrelos, sieto Grands "Crus" - o grandes vinos de pagos-, o sea, toda la grama: Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur y Vaudésir.

El proceso de vinificación.

En 1984 la casa fue adquirida por el Barón Patrick de Ladoucette, acreditado propietario, en el valle del Loira, del famoso Pouilly Fumé de Ladoucette. Gracias a su notoriedad y dinamismo, el Barón de Ladoucette no ha parado desde entonces de perpetuar y mejorar el estilo y el carácter típico de los vins producidos por la casa. Una importante modernización de las bodegas, cubas de acero inoxidable a temperatura controlada, estabilización de los vinos mediante el frío, embotellado baho gas neutro, etc., así como la compra de viñedos, han permitido garantizar la alta calidad de cada uno de los vinos elaborados. Cada Chablis Régnard presentado aquí se ha vinificado y criado de acuerdo con los principios de la casa: Un verdadero Chablis es suficiente por sí mismo: no es necesario agregarle un gusto a roble y a barrica para que alcance una mejor calidad. La finura y el frescor son las dos cualidades esenciales de un gran vino blanco, logradas especialmente con una vinificación perfectamente bajo dominio. Un largo envejecimiento en botella, necesario para los Primeros "Crus" y los Grandes "Crus", da a nuestros Chablis un carácter de revelación y los eleva a su más bella expresión.

Nuestra producción.

Distribuidos en su gran mayoría dentro de la restauración, los Chablis Régnard se distinguen por la elegancia, la finura y un sorprendente frescor que el paladar encuentra una y otra vez con placer en las añadas más viejas. Su producción está asegurada en un 10% por sus propios viñedos y el resto procede de la compra de uva a unos cincuenta viticultores vinculados por contrato a la casa desde hace muchísimos años. Así, la superficie cosechada se acerca a las 120 hectáreas; estas múltiples localizaciones de las compras permiten, por ello mismo, constituir una amplia gama representativa del viñedo, asegurando así un marcado carácter típico.

Excelente blanco, bastante corpulento y seco. Muy adecuado, funciona con todos los platos de tapas clásicos. Lo califico como mi favorito y bebo mucho. Desafortunadamente se vende mucho, así que compre hay que comprarlo pronto.
