Fundada por Josef Hofstätter en el año 1907, Tenuta Hofstätter sigue llevando el nombre del patriarca y es uno de los grandes referentes en el Alto Adige. Aquí, es casi un mito. Ubicada en la localidad de Termeno-Tremin, entre los epicentros de la enología del Tirol del Sur, Hofstätter ha sabido combinar, desde el principio, las grandes producciones, 55 hectáreas y unas 800.000 botellas anuales, con una altísima calidad. Martin Foradori, bisnieto del fundador, hoy al frente de la bodega, ha tomado el relevo de una tradición consistente en vinificar cada parcela por separado, incluso las más pequeñas, y algunas colindantes, definiendo auténticos pagos. Casi siempre lo han hecho así, siendo los primeros en la región sin duda alguna. Una filosofía borgoñona que encuentra en esta bodega, situada en el mismo centro de Termeno, en el interior de un histórico edificio del siglo XVI, su propia consolidación.
