Viticultores y su obra.

Viticultores y productores de vino desde tiempos remotos, Oriol Rossell es una bodega familiar que ha llegado a consolidarse un gran nombre como elaborador de cava. Sus 85 ha. de viñedo son cultivadas únicamente con las tres variedades de vid tradicionales en la comarca, xarel·lo, macabeo y parellada, y su objetivo, conseguir un producto de máxima calidad conforme a la tradición. La bodega, de estilo modernista, fue construida en 1908 y se encuentra en la solariega mansión de Can Cassanyes, el antiguo caserío, edificado en el siglo XVII, que preside la propiedad. Cavas Oriol Rossell, es una pequeña empresa familiar dedicada a la elaboración de cavas y vinos de calidad procedentes de uvas de nuestra finca. Una viticultura cuidadosa y respetuosa con el entorno y una elaboración tradicional transmitida de generación en generación son el secreto de nuestra bodega.

Viñedos.

Los viñedos de las cavas Oriol Rossell están situadas en la heredad Cal Cassanyes; una finca unitaria de 85 hectáreas situada a caballo entre el Alto y el Baix Penedès. Junto a las montañas de la sierra prelitoral, al norte, y de las del litoral, al sur, ya pocos kilómetros del mar; esta situación confiere en nuestros viñedos un microclima muy especial que da personalidad a nuestros vinos.
