Bodega y ubicación.
Feudi di San Gregorio fue fundada en 1986 en Sorbo Serpico, en la provincia de Avellino. En un momento en el que cada parte de Italia a aumentado la produccion de variedades internacionales, Feudi di San Gregorio señala con valor su patrimonio de la viticultura local. Los viñedos conviven siempre con árboles frutales, bosques, aceitunas y hierbas aromáticas. Hoy son 300 hectareas. La bodega es el fruto de una investigación dirigida a la combinación de la profundidad de nuestra tradición con un diseño arquitectónico futurista.
Filosofía de un arte.
Esta bodega italiana tiene como filosofía entender la elaboración de vino como un arte, con un proceso creativo similar al de un cuadro o una escultura. Gracias a este ángulo de visión tan creativo, Feudi di San Gregorio ha establecido relaciones colaborativas con varios artistas, jóvenes talentos y rostros ya conocidos con los que intercambian conocimiento y puntos en común entre el arte y el vino. La bodega se encuentra ubicada en la región de Irpinia, una comarca histórica en los Apeninos de Campania en la que tradicionalmente han convivido las vides con los árboles frutales, los olivos y las plantas aromáticas. Desde Feudi di San Gregorio se lleva a cabo una labor de recuperación y promoción de uvas autóctonas, como la Aglianico, FIano di Avellino o la Grego di Tufo. Desde el año 2004 y con las instalaciones renovadas la bodega continúa con su labor divulgativa y artística en un entorno rodeado de arroyos, jardines y rosales.
