Emina es mucho más que una bodega, es una forma de entender el vino y un ejemplo de cómo la tecnología más moderna puede hacer maravillas al servicio de la vitivinicultura. Con Emina, Carlos Moro quiso ir un paso más allá en lo que a innovación se refiere, y vaya si lo ha conseguido. Refrescos de vino, vinos desalcoholizados, nuevas técnicas de elaboración En definitiva, se trata de una firma que potencia al máximo la investigación y desarrollo respetando las tradiciones enológicas más ancestrales. Ubicada en Valbuena de Duero, en plena "milla de oro" de la Ribera, Emina es, además de una bodega elaboradora de vinos de calidad, un Centro de Interpretación Vinícola de visita obligada. Uno de sus grandes objetivos es la difusión de la cultura del vino a todos los niveles, haciendo hincapié en su relación intrínseca con el arte y la cultura. Su filosofía, fuente de inspiración de la que han bebido multitud de bodegas en los últimos años, se aplica directamente a los vinos que elaboran con el fin de que descorchar una botella se convierta en una experiencia única e irrepetible. Actualmente Bodega Emina Rueda tiene posee 160 hectáreas de viñas propias y controla 500 ha más de viticultores de la zona.
Variedades.
El origen del vino, es la tierra, de ahí brotan las diferentes variedades de uva, que luego nos encontraremos en los distintos caldos. Cada una de éstas tiene sus peculiaridades. En el Centro de Interpretación Vitivinícola Emina, queremos comenzar visitando el Jardín de las Variedades, en el que encontrará más de 70 variedades. Para poder elaborar los vinos de Emina, la uva ha sido seleccionada de los mejores pagos que hay en el "triángulo de oro" del vino de la Ribera. La vendimia se realiza en su momento optimo y siempre a mano, produciéndose una selección de la uva en el propio campo. El objetivo de la Bodega, es hacer vino de máxima calidad, para lo que se han seleccionado las uvas de algunos de los grandes pagos. La vendimia, realizada en su momento óptimo, se lleva a cabo de manera manual, asegurándonos la máxima calidad de las uvas que entran en la Bodega.
