Fundación y Filosofía.

Celler Cal Pla se fundó en 1814, momento en que el Priorat tuvo una gran transformación vitivinícola. Hasta 7 generaciones dedicados al trabajo de las viñas ya la elaboración de vinos, que nos han dejado hasta hoy un extraordinario bodega antigua y viñedos de hasta cien años. Reconocidos también por el premio y diploma a los vinos en 1929. El nombre de Cal Pla es el nombre de la casa y de nuestra familia, ahora también transmitido a nuestros vinos. Fundada en 1814, Celler Cal Pla cuenta con siete generaciones de viticultores y elaboradores de vino a sus espaldas y un privilegiado viñedo de más de cien años en el Priorat. La bodega es una casa solariega del siglo XVIII. Presenta la típica vuelta prioratina de palmera, interesantes lemas pintados en las paredes, y mantiene todavía muchas de las barricas centenarias que han servido a varias generaciones para elaborar vino. Conservan tradición pero también innovación, usando técnicas modernas.
