La bodega Dartigalongue puede ostentar con orgullo el título de productor más antiguo de Bas Armagnac en la historia, remontando sus orígenes al período del reinado de Louis-Philippe, allá por 1838 para ser precisos. A finales de la década de 1930, el fundador Pascal Dartigalongue fundó la maison en Nogaro, en el corazón de la región de Gascogne, en el suroeste de Francia, y luego compró los viñedos en los años setenta del siglo XIX. El trabajo de la empresa comienza, sin embargo, desde el trabajo entre las filas, donde las plantas se crían con cuidado, método y rigor, en pleno respeto del medio ambiente, la naturaleza y el ecosistema.
