El sueño de un adolescente.
Bertha nace de un sueño adolescente, de una ilusión y de las ganas de formar parte de un mundo que desde niño se ha vivido en plenitud. Los que hacemos Bertha disfrutamos de nuestro trabajo y así queda reflejado en cada una de nuestras botellas. Nuestra historia se remonta a tan sólo veinte años, por eso la filosofía de Bertha es tan abierta y contemporánea. Somos amantes del arte, del diseño y de la imagen, pero conservamos los métodos más tradicionales de elaboración, respetando las variedades autóctonas y la tierra donde nos encontramos. Comercializados hasta 1998 bajo el nombre de Josep Torres Sibill, Cava Bertha se caracteriza por elaborar productos de alta calidad a partir de una cuidada selección de vinos base del Penedés, con procesos de fermentación lentos y largas crianzas. Un total de 6 cavas distintos y en limitadas producciones.
El cava.
Desde 1989 elaboramos lo que es para nosotros el mejor vino del mundo: EL CAVA. No encontraréis en otra parte un vino espumoso con una personalidad tan marcada. Por el paisaje, por el suelo, por el clima y, sobre todo, por sus variedades autóctonas. La mezcla de estas variedades confiere una personalidad única al cava. El Penedès está situado a cobijo de la sierra de Montserrat y relativamente cerca del mar. Su privilegiada situación lo convierte en un lugar especial para la producción de vinos base para cavas. El paisaje es un espectáculo en cualquier época del año. En este paraje nace nuestra pequeña obra de arte: el cava Bertha.
