Más de 100 años de historia.
La Cooperativa de Falset-Marçà, DO Montsant, es el resultado de la fusión entre las cooperativas de Marçà y de Falset, dos pueblos vecinos separados tan sólo por 3 kilómetros de carretera, en la parte meridional de la comarca del Priorat. La producción de vinos y aceites de calidad es nuestra principal actividad. Hace más de cien años, en 1912 concretamente, que Marçà vio nacer su primer sindicato, mientras que en Falset el origen de la cooperativa debe situarse cinco años más tarde, en 1917. La fusión de las Cooperativas de Falset y Marçà, ha hecho que en su momento permitió reforzar y culminar el proyecto de adecuación de nuestra empresa, tanto a nivel de producción como de elaboración. Se encuentra situada en la comarca del Priorato, zona que debe su fama internacional a la uva que se cultiva y el vino que se elabora. Si bien el cultivo de la viña es más antiguo, en el siglo XII los monjes cartujanos introdujeron nuevos métodos que aún hoy en día se respetan. Más de 80 años de antigüedad y constantes innovaciones nos permiten ofrecer siempre un elevado nivel de calidad en nuestros productos. Formamos una empresa competitiva y singular. La bodega, de estilo modernista, que está declarada Monumento Histórico, destaca por su gran valor arquitectónico. Obra del arquitecto Cesar Martinell, discípulo de Gaudí, se inspiró en las formas medievales, como el arco de medio punto de la puerta principal y las dos torres de silueta almenada.
Más que agricultores, más que empresarios.
La nuestra es mucho más que una cooperativa centenaria, fundada en 1912 y que cuenta con 720 socios. Unos socios que son agricultores y, al mismo tiempo, son los propietarios de la cooperativa o, si lo prefieren, son sus "accionistas". Es por eso que estamos orgullosos de decir que somos agricultores y empresarios a la vez y que, en consecuencia, nos responsabilizamos de todo lo que pasa desde que plantamos una viña hasta que ponemos el vino en la mesa. Por lo tanto, cuando nos preguntan si somos empresarios o agricultores, nuestra respuesta no deja lugar a dudas: somos mucho más que agricultores y algo más que simples empresarios. Fabricantes de 750.000 botellas de vino al año y exportadores en más de una treintena de países, las cifras actuales poco tienen que ver con las de los orígenes, a principios del siglo XX. Todo ha cambiado mucho en un centenar de años, y los esfuerzos en innovación han sido inmensos. La cooperativa, a día de hoy, sigue innovando, lo que no quiere decir que no se sea respetuoso con la tradición. De hecho, a pesar del paso de los años, el objetivo básico de la cooperativa es el mismo desde hace un siglo: "esmerarse la Elaboración y Mejora de productos del cultivo", según decían los primeros estatutos. Es así de simple: hacer las cosas bien sigue siendo nuestra principal razón de ser.

Los Vinos de Ètim.
Directamente vinculados a la tierra, miramos que se exprese a base de extraer la potencia aromática de la garnacha, el mazuelo, el syrah y otras variedades de uva que cultivamos día a día y que seleccionamos cuidadosamente una vez llega la vendimia. Ya en el proceso de elaboración del vino, seguimos esforzándonos para preservar la intensidad de unos suelos y de un clima que conocemos perfectamente y que dejan su huella en nuestros vinos. En definitiva, aunque a nosotros nos gusta hablar de nuestros vinos, somos plenamente conscientes de que son los vinos los que mejor acaban hablando de nosotros. Étimo es, por trayectoria y reconocimientos, una de las gamas más bien consideradas de la DO Montsant y la comarca del Priorat por parte de la crítica y los consumidores. Reúne una amplia diversidad de vinos, fruto de interpretar la riqueza y la autenticidad de nuestros viñedos y extraer todo su potencial, ya sea para elaborar vinos jóvenes, con crianza, dulces, rancios o vermuts. En todos ellos, tratamos de dejar nuestra huella, una manera de hacer que nos es propia y que es fruto del equilibrio entre la tradición y la innovación, entre la artesanía y los descubrimientos más recientes. En definitiva, los de la gama Étimo son vinos especiales pensados para emocionarte; vinos contemporáneos para el día a día, rancios y dulces que son verdaderas joyas, vermuts auténticos como no les probarás ninguna parte.
