Español [ ES ]Clos d'Agon (Costa Brava, España) se encuentra en una hermosa zona de la Calonge (Girona) bajo la D.O. Catalunya. Clos d'Agon o Celler Mas Gil, está situada a unos 5 km. de la costa, en la comarca del Baix Empordà. Sus viñedos están situados en la ladera de Les Gavarres, parque natural, una zona protegida que impide cualquier ampliación. La nueva bodega se construyó el año 2003 y fue diseñada por Chus Manzanares. En la vecindad se pueden encontrar zonas turísticas tan conocidas como las costas de Palamós y Platja d'Aro. La antigua ciudad de Girona se encuentra aproximadamente a unos 30 kilómetros de distancia del aeropuerto internacional de Girona.
Seis suizos amigos del vino, entre ellos Franz J. Wermuth, un comerciante de vino/subastador de vino, Frank Ebinger, casa del Vino, Zürich y Silvio Denz, Château Faugères, St. Emilion, adquirieron este renombrado entorno vitícola en el año 1998. Históricos olivos y árboles exóticos dejan la mirada en una cultura legendaria ya relacionada con el vino. Hace entorno a 350 años ya se cultivaba vino en este lugar. En épocas anteriores en la zona había habido plantadas vides híbridas. Clos d' Agon está situado cerca de 100 m de altitud sobre el nivel del mar, orientado hacia el sur-suroeste y en el borde un valle, encajado y protegido por los bosques enormes que componen el Espacio Natural de "Las Gavarres". La superficie total del entorno vitícola cubre alrededor de 42 hectáreas, de las cuales aproximadamente 15 ha tiene viñas plantadas.
