El trabajo centrado en la excelencia.

El proyecto de Bodegas Volver nace en 2004 de la mano de Rafael Cañizares, enólogo de formación y viticultor por tradición familiar de más de cuatro generaciones vinculadas a la viña y al vino. Los pilares de la bodega se basan en el reposicionamiento de los vinos españoles de calidad, recuperando viejos viñedos de variedades autóctonas, que bien por sus bajos rendimientos, o por falta de relevo generacional se hubieran perdido. Bodegas Volver forma parte de Grupo Jorge Ordoñez que es una selección de bodegas españolas que elaboran los vinos mas prestigiosos y premiados a nivel internacional. Esta bodega se distingue de otras por la elaboración artesanal de variedades autóctonas españolas procedentes de viñedos muy viejos que probablemente son menos productivos pero al mismo tiempo proporcionan más calidad. El lema de esta bodega es "El trabajo centrado en la excelencia".

Los orígenes.

Por su parte, Rafael Cañizares ha dedicado su vida a La Mancha y el vino. Sus bisabuelos eran viticultores y así ha sido en su familia a lo largo de cuatro generaciones en las que se ha respirado y vivido el amor al viñedo y la viticultura. De esta tradición ha nacido el modo de entender el viñedo: sin un buen trabajo desde el inicio es imposible hacer un buen vino y, por tanto, se debe cuidar para conseguir una uva sana, con buena maduración y poca producción.
