La bodega Alois Lageder en Alto Adige comprende cincuenta y cinco hectáreas de viñedos propios de la familia, que se gestionan sobre la base de principios biodinámicos. Nuestro enfoque holístico se refleja en nuestras actividades vitivinícolas, nuestras relaciones de larga data con numerosos viticultores y nuestra ambición de crear conciencia para una agricultura que esté en sintonía con la naturaleza. La biodinámica, del griego bios que significa vida y dinamikòs que significa movimiento, es un método empleado para la renovación de la agricultura que se basa en los principios de la antroposofía, una visión desarrollada por el filósofo austríaco Rudolf Steiner a principios del siglo XX. La visión antroposófica es que una granja es un microcosmos cerrado que contiene una variedad de plantas y animales. Un paisaje cultural también es un sistema cerrado que involucra el suelo, las plantas y la naturaleza. Nuestro objetivo como viticultores es mantener y desarrollar este complejo ecosistema.

Vinos de alta calidad.

Nuestras raíces se remontan a 1823 cuando el joven artesano Johann Lageder se estableció como comerciante de vinos en Bolzano. Sus sucesores comenzaron a producir sus propios vinos y adquirieron varios viñedos. Alois III, el bisnieto del fundador de la empresa, vio la variedad de zonas climáticas en Alto Adige como una de las fortalezas de la región y en 1934 compró la finca vinícola Löwengang en Magrè, en la parte sur del Alto Adige. Pronto los viticultores más pequeños también comenzaron a suministrarle uvas. Cuando Alois III murió inesperadamente en 1963, Alois IV tenía solo 12 años. En consecuencia, su esposa Christiane y su hija mayor Wendelgard administraron la herencia de manera provisional. Luego, desde mediados de la década de 1970, Alois IV, junto con su hermana y su esposo y enólogo Luis von Dellemann, se propusieron reposicionar la bodega con un enfoque estricto en la calidad y los métodos innovadores en el viñedo y la bodega. Hoy en día, los viñedos familiares de 50 hectáreas se cultivan biodinámicamente.

Nada de herbicidas ni pesticidas.

En el nivel práctico, esto significa trabajar sin productos químicos y productos sintéticos para la protección de las plantas, es decir, herbicidas, insecticidas, fungicidas y fertilizantes minerales, y utilizar las preparaciones biodinámicas y las infusiones homeopáticas. Promovemos la biodiversidad sembrando plantas de cobertura del suelo y plantando arbustos, introduciendo animales en los viñedos y fertilizando el suelo con compost. Todas estas medidas conducen a una mejor calidad del suelo y fertilidad de la vid. Nuestro objetivo es siempre desarrollar y mantener un ciclo natural. En la bodega trabajamos de acuerdo con los estrictos principios de Demeter Italia. Vemos un viñedo como un organismo vivo, como el producto de un ecosistema complejo, que representa un microcosmos en relación con el macrocosmos. Al tener en cuenta los ciclos y ritmos de la naturaleza, es decir, las influencias cósmicas como las del sol, la luna y las estrellas, podemos hacer uso de sus fuerzas. Esa es la clave para una agricultura exitosa porque entonces trabajamos con y no contra la naturaleza. El hombre moderno de este siglo, a menudo ya no ve las interrelaciones naturales y pierde el conocimiento práctico que nuestros antepasados adquirieron a través de la observación a través de milenios.

Innovación, desarrollo e investigación.

Para nosotros, el vino es una suma de diferentes componentes que nos gustaría explorar, descubrir y vincular. La naturaleza cambia constantemente y también las condiciones en nuestra región Alto Adige. Es solo cuando nos atrevemos a probar algo diferente y empujamos los límites que podemos desarrollar y finalmente cuestionar y aumentar de manera sostenible la calidad en medio de circunstancias cambiantes. Si queremos luchar por la vivacidad, frescura y precisión en nuestros vinos también en el futuro, debemos entender las condiciones naturales y cómo podemos jugar con diferentes componentes. Hay muchas preguntas que nos hacemos y que no siempre se pueden responder con claridad: ¿Cómo podemos tratar con diferentes altitudes?. ¿Qué acentos podemos establecer con diferentes tiempos de cosecha?. ¿Qué efecto tiene la piedra caliza en el vino?. ¿Cómo influye el suelo volcánico en las variedades de uva?. ¿Cómo cambia la estructura de un vino la cantidad más pequeña de procesamiento de racimo completo?. ¿Las variedades de uva como Tannat, Blatterle o Manzoni Bianco realmente jugarán un papel en Alto Adigein en el futuro?. Estas y otras preguntas son las que nos gustaría explorar para mejorar continuamente la calidad de nuestros vinos.
